Country specific cultural awareness training helps business professionals understand how culture can influence business behaviour, communication and workplace expectations in a particular country. It provides practical insight into areas such as relationships, hierarchy, decision making, meetings, management and business etiquette.

The aim is not to teach fixed rules about how people from a country behave. Instead, it gives learners useful cultural context so they can interpret situations more accurately, adapt their approach and work more effectively with colleagues, clients and partners in that country.

Each country course starts by placing the country and its people in context, looking at factors such as regional and generational differences, social values, religion, history and other influences that help explain how attitudes and expectations have developed.

From there, the learning moves into practical business situations, including communication, workplace culture, management, meetings, decision making, relationship building and business etiquette. Country specific examples, scenarios and activities help learners connect these insights to situations they may actually encounter when working in that country.

Country specific training focuses on the cultural and business context of one particular country, helping learners understand the local expectations, values and behaviours they are most likely to encounter there.

General cross cultural training is broader. It develops skills such as intercultural communication, adaptability, cultural intelligence and global teamwork that can be applied across many different countries and situations.

The two approaches work well together. One builds depth around a specific country, while the other builds a wider set of skills for working across cultures.

Most of our country cultural awareness courses take around 45 to 90 minutes to complete, depending on the country and the amount of content covered.

Courses are divided into shorter sections so learners can work through them at their own pace. Access is available online for 12 months, allowing learners to return to the material when preparing for meetings, travel, relocation or other work connected to that country.

Yes. Practical application is built into every country course. Learners explore realistic business situations that show how cultural expectations can influence communication, meetings, management, relationships, decision making and everyday workplace behaviour.

The examples are designed to help learners move beyond simply knowing cultural facts. They are encouraged to interpret what may be happening, consider different perspectives and think about how they could adapt their own approach when working in that country.

Most individual country courses cost $50 per learner, with online access available for 12 months. Some specialist courses may be priced differently.

For teams and organizations, we also offer group licences, organization wide access and SCORM packages for delivery through your own LMS. Pricing depends on the number of learners and the delivery option you choose.
